I enjoyed playing fantasy golf the past couple of years and look forward to playing again.

I set up another league for 2008 already. If you are interested in playing you can join here.

I have been much more interested in following the PGA Tour since I started playing fantasy golf. I watched a little golf on TV before that, but not as much and I had little interest in who most of the players were. Fantasy golf changes that. Some of those guys are playing for you now hehe.

This is a Yahoo! league. You can play in more than one league. If Golf Rewind sets up a league let me know. If you do play in multiple leagues it's just the same team...saves a lot of time, but it's not like fantasy football where you have separate teams.

I gave away some prizes in my league last year and hope to do the same this year. One sponsor made pom pom headcovers which made great prizes. To help keep things interesting, I provided a monthly prize.

Each league can have up to 50 players. Some players in last year's league will be there. I sent out an invite to 25 players (those that didn't hide their email address).

GR members are very welcome to play in the league and of course a GR league if one is set up.

It really is fun to play...strictly point totals and not head to head matches.

To play, just pick 8 players each week. You pick 2 A players, 4 B players, and 2 C players. Each round, you pick 1 A player, 2 B players, and 1 C player. This is how it worked the past couple of years, anyway.

The prize will be shipped from Scotland by a participating member of the league and my site.

Golf Rewind's HOT IRISH has joined and has a 3 point lead over me. I'm in 3rd, Irish is in 2nd, and Mempho Maniacs is in 1st going into the final round in Week 4 (Tiger Time). It's a close league and anyone in the top 10 or so could end up taking the first prize. We play one more tournament after this for the prize.

There are some familiar names from last year playing well again this year.

We're playing 5 weeks for this first prize. I barely have the lead anyway after 4 weeks hehe. Maybe HOT IRISH will take the prize next week.



If I still have the lead after Week 5 (not likely) everybody will get a mulligan and the prize will be for February's total high score. A lot of players must be cheering me on this week.

I made room for some new players if you are interested in joining this fantasy golf league.

You can join "late" and still have something to play for because we play for a monthly prize...high score just for that month.

HOT IRISH came very close to taking the first prize, but Untouchables took it...very close.
