What company to ship clubs?

I was just wondering, what companies do you guys use when you ship golf clubs? I am almost done with selling a set and was wondering whether I should go fedex/ups or send them priority mail. Any opinions/experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Most putters / single irons / iron sets that I have acquired via ebay were shipped via UPS, without problems. Some came from individuals, others from companies that ship lots of clubs.

I've received packages from UPS and USPS perfectly fine. No problems whatsoever with either.

I've always found that USPS is a bit cheaper..and quicker than UPS or FedEx. Never had a problem with USPS at all.

Re: What company to ship clubs?

Whenever golfers leave clubs behind at the course, we always ship USPS because they are cheap and fast.

Re: What company to ship clubs?

UPS is better for one reason, Your package is insured to $100 as part of the price, and extra insurance can be added for less than 50 cents a hundred. The post office charges a lot more for insurance and it's a hassle to deal wth the PO. If you have an Office Depot near you, you can take the package there and they will ship it UPS for you. That's the easiest way to do it.
