at Rock Bottom Golf's website. I know alot of you are considering new irons this year, and that many of you don't have to have this year's technology (and higher prices) to be happy. This post is for you, because there are a few sets that the prices are surprisingly low on.
I got the email from RBG this afternoon, and WOW! There are some very nice sets at some great prices there. It really made the club ho in me start screaming, but then I remembered how happy I am with my current irons
I hear ya Zakthan. If they were available in something other than X flex, I would've bought a new set of the Staff Pi5's. I remember when I first tested those out, they were $700 a set. RBG has them for $163 now.
The worse part is that those are the only irons I've tried in the last 2 years that made me seriously consider taking my old Staffs out of the bag. As is, at that price, I considered ordering them anyway and putting new shafts in them.
I remember trying the Dunlop Tad Moore irons years ago when they first came out, and they are a real steal at $107 for the TM01 model. I've never hit the TM02, but for $82 I'm tempted to try them.
You can always do what I do. If I buy a set (or even a single club) at a really good price, and wind up hating them, you can give them to some kid that's playing hand-me-down clubs that are older than he is. There's always a kid at one of the courses I play that really wants to learn the game, but is stuck trying to learn with his dad's old clubs because he can't afford anything better. I always try to think of it as investing in the future of golf.
