Ahh -- the early signs of spring are returning to Oklahoma!

What will be your mantra for spring golf his year?

Mine will be about putting rhythm:

1 - slight forward press of wrists to initiate the stroke
2 - take club head straight back low and slow
3 - try to see spot on the grass where ball was lying after hitting it
4 - hold follow through at least 3 seconds before looking up at the ball.

For putting:

• Relax
• Hole
• Go

For everything else:

• Relax
• Center
• Head Down

Basically I want my conscious mind out of the hitting equation, and this is what works for me.

Spring Mantra:

Put as much effort into the first 18 holes as I will the 19th

Keeping wrists still while chipping . Just like when I putt .

1. Relax,
2. Easy swing,
3. Enjoy!

Did i lock the door,i'm sure i left the kettle on,wish i had lifted my mobile,did i put that packet of tees in my bag,what was that noise,no,i'm sure i left the kettle on.
