No Hassle Way to Get Rid of Clubs?

My wife's got me cleaning out the garage & I want to get rid of a number of old clubs I don't use anymore - a set of 6 year old Taylor Mades, a Top Flite Intimadator, & a Cleveland Launcher 460. I don't really want to go thru the hassle of trying to sell them online. Any suggestions for getting at least something for them?

Most locations have a free tabloid to post give away or modestly price items. Try posting something on free bulletin boards in your local area. Also, a real simple way to get something for them is to donate them to charity & get a break on taxes. I recently ran across good article on doing this at Donate Your Golf Equipment To Charity For A No Hassle Way To Receive Value!.

You might try Craigslist...high quality clubs go really quick...I posted a couple of titleist wedges and a callaway fairway wood, got a call in like 15 minutes and sold them that night. Had a ton of inquires as well.

Donate them to the United Way!! A tax write off, and you would be helping to promote the sport we love to kids, who might not get a chance to play.

Another thought on donation. See if there is a First Tee program in your area.
