While every club in my bag has a purpose, it would be very easy for me to remove my driver and not miss it at all. It doesn't like me, and I don't like it.
OTOH, if I had a driver I could hit, I'd lose my 4-iron. I mostly use it as a "get out of the brush back to the fairway" club.
i rly never use any long irons hardly since im not very confident with them if its out of 7 iron range i use my 3 hybrid and hit however hard i think i need to get it there
The club currently in my bag that I use the least on my home course is the 5W. I'm usually either laying up with my 4H or an iron, or I'm going for the gusto with my 3W. I mostly seem to use the 5W for when I need a high trajectory to clear trees (because I've hit a lousy tee shot), or for tight lies when the 3W would be a bit chancy. I've only used the 5W once in the last 3 rounds.
Driver ofcourse, 60° wedge, and 3 iron. I havent used my 5 wood in a few months so it could go but i like it as a crutch to get me going if i had a bad day on the tee.
If you're like me, the amount of shots you'll gain with getting the extra distance with the driver, you'll lose that many as well (missing the fairway/penalty shots).
my 4 or 5 woods. I can't hit either of them, unless it's off a short tee. I can hit my 3 iron almost as long as I hit my driver. My driver and woods are actually wooden, so whenever I get a crack at one of my friends clubs I launch it, but I still don't like it.
For me, would depend on 2 things ... the course I am playing, and whether or not I can hit driver or not that day.
On a long course, definitely 8-iron. I will generally have a wood or a layup on most par 4s, so the 8 iron will likely not get used.
On a course without a lot of bunkers or elevated greens, I would ditch the 60 degree wedge. I only really 'need' it in those cases.
Overall, for all course, I'd ditch the 3-wood. I am not very good with it off the deck, and usually only use it on the tee for a long par 3 or if my driver isn't working. For days when my driver doesn't like me, teeing of with 5 wood would be acceptable. If I was a little better with 3 wood off the deck, I'd ditch the 60 degree.
Most indispensable club? Pry my 11 wood from my cold dead hands.
I just thought about this today. With the exception of par 3's which might vary 30 yards in length with different pin placements and tee box positions, all I need is my Driver, 2-iron, 9-iron, PW, SW, and LW (and putter) to play my home course Wilkes-Barre Golf Club Course Tour.
I'll stick with my 3-wood as the first club I'd toss, next would be 3-iron, followed by 4-iron, 5-iron...
Im a noobie here so go easy on me. beleive it or not, I very rarely use my driver. I hit my 3 wood plenty of distance and am much more confident as to where the ball is going so for me it;s my driver.

Pretty much agreed on this. Many weekend golfers (I'd wager) hit their drivers less accurately than they'd like to admit, and would probably better off hitting a 3 wood. But outside that, my 4 hybrid is the club I find sitting in the bag the most.
