well.

it was fun.

the first hole i started out with a 3, which was a birdie.

the next hole was a par 3 and i hit my tee long, and into someones yard, out of bounds. i ended up with a 5. which was ok with me, especaially after i had to re-tee.

the next hole was my favorite of the day, even though i got an 8 on the par 5.

i hit my drive barely in the lake and i took out my wedge and did the left handed shot with a right hand club. mud flies everywhere but it still was in the fairway. :D


anyway, i ended up with a 44 with a 5 on a par 3 and an 8.

it was a 5 way tie for 3rd, but because i got a birdie on the first hole, i ended up getting 3rd.


I finished 3rd in my age group, advancing me to state.

the top 3 went to state. :D


it was a fun time and i was never nervous at any spot in it. the group i played in was probably the best out of the groups. not only were we good at keeping pace, but we all talked a bunch which was cool.

Good job. 44 isn't bad when 5 over on 2 holes.

Since I've yet to break 90, I'd take a 44 any day.

Congratulations on your play. Hope you do well at state. I played on the golf team in junior college and later at the university level. Playing on a scholastic team can give you such a fine education on the game.

those holes where i got 5 over on were easy fixes too.

i had only played that course one time before so i wasnt really sure about the yardages.

i took a 4 hybrid instead of the 5 iron on the par 3 which really messed it up.

and the par 5. i hit it in the bunker and it took me two tries to get it out.

pretty easy fixes, not as bad as it sounds.
