I am looking for a Scramble format that will accomodate 54 (4 person team) on a 27 hole course. Each team will only play 18 of the 27 holes. The teams will be flighted into 6 flights based to determine the winner. Does anyone have any suggestions or info on where to look for information on such a format?

What is the purpose of the scramble? For fun? Charity? Calcutta? Is it abcd scramble or pick your own team no matter what handicap?

Does the course have 108 golf carts? 108 carts for a 27 hole track seems like more than they would have on hand.

It is a company outing. Currently we have 36-40 teams of 4 player (2 employees & 2 guests). Last year we switched courses and the interest was up and some didn't get to play. The new course has 27 holes which would allow for more teams. I was looking for a format that would allow a team to play 18 holes and be ranked against the other 53 teams in the field. The teams are made up of various handicaps. We use a flighting system to determine the winners of each flight. The teams are flighted based on a set number of 9 holes and final results are how you final score compares to the other 8 teams in you flight.

Do you know any such system or where the best place to look would be?
