Finally!! A hole in one !!
After 40 years of trying, I finally got my ace during our Men's Club night. We were just talking about how close we have come before as we waited for the group ahead to clear the green. I shot first ( smooth 4 iron to a 181 yd hole ) and it hopped once and into the cup.
The next guy hits it 2 feet from the cup and the third guy hits it right on line but a bit short! The Bar bill wasn't too bad as the club picked up the first $100 and I picked up the rest!! I hope I don't have to wait 40 years for another one.

That was cool for the course to help with the tab and in a men's league is a great time to have a hole in one.
I've had two...bought the group a drink. I always thought it was just for the group you played with. No way I'm paying any more than that hehe.

Congrats on you hole in one. Hope you have many more. My Dad had his only one in a similar situation and I remember how excited he was.

Nice shot... my 1st was a bit shorter at 140, but anytime it happens it's fun. Mine was in the 1989 Club Championship, and it cost me $200 to set up a keg.... but the pot I won for it was $1250, so I guess I made out ok....

It is also a little sad that I couldn't transfer the hole in one to this week as there is a prize for hole in ones during this Men's night at $5000 per hole and a Golf cart!!
