Well, without going into too much detail...LOT of head movement, lateral shift, and posture issues. What has your instructor been saying you fundamentally need to work on?
It kind of looks like you have tee'd up your ball to far forward. Try moving back to the back of your left heel. You have it playing almost at your middle toe.
I would agree with the 3 comments already. Your spine needs to be straight not hunched over and your chin up. This will give you a little room to work the club around you. Your head will stay better located if you minimize your lateral sway. Everybody has a little. Yours is significant. If you can successfully alter this issue in your swing, you will find that the release of the club will come much easier.
Hope these post help you a bit,
Bob
The teacher seems overly concerned with the followthrough, rather than with what led up to it! That statement may not be fair, as I didn't see the entire lessons, but that is what I noticed!
Thanks for all the feedback so far, I do seem to have a bent over posture, it was actually worse before these lessons.
I have been working on the basics I guess, the turning over of my hands, which I never did, the opening up of the club face on take away, which I never did. He put the ball for driver further up in my stance, I think I have had mixed results at best with that, My problem is the slice, can't seem to get rid of it.
John can't be sure because of the camera orientation; but, it looks as if with your driver the ball position is too far forward. This will make a slice more pronounced or encourage a pull. The ball should not be forward of a line parallel with your inside left heel. Apparently, this is a patch misapplied to compensate for your lateral sway.
If you can, I second the motion, see a PGA Pro to get on the right track. Some of the guys at the big box stores are about like the free advice from that stranger at the range. Use with caution!
Cheers,
Bob
