Do Broad Shoulders Affect Club-Head Speed?

I've always wondered this. I am not that tall (5'8) but I can still hit the ball pretty far at times. I know that much of your clubhead speed (and thusly power) is generated from shoulder turn. I have always had extremely broad shoulders. Could this be the reason that I have the potential to smack the ball long distances?

im not sure, though i think it does.

i was at a tour event, and all of the bigger hitters had MASSIVE shoulders, and i mean huge. i think power has something to do with the size of your shoulders.

more than anything else though, i think that THAT huge drive comes mainly from a swing where everything is timed just right.
