Hello! I am new to this particular forum. But I just wanted to share a recent experience with my fellow golfers who have children in the game.
My wife and I have two teenage daughters. Recently the younger of the two decided to try golf. I am very supportive! She joined the Golf Team at her school. Soon afterward my older daughter joined as well! Needless to say, we were delighted they had chosen to play golf. But my proudest moment, and most emotional, was when I spoke with the Golf Coach. He told me that my younger daughter, when asked why she wanted to play golf, told him she wanted to play, and get good enough to play with her Dad, so she could spend more time with him. Wow! My eyes are watering now. What a proud moment for Dad!
I have to say I was at every golf match and every tournament they played in.
Any other Dads with similar experiences? And now that the season is over at school, how can I keep them interested?
Oh, by the way, I own an online
link removed store. So supplying them with clubs was easy and inexpensive.
