What is the slope and rating of your course? (From the tips)

Just curious...

My course is a bit challenging with a 74.0 rating and a 134 slope.

How does your home course match up?

From the tips... 77.5/152. Rated in Golf Digest as one of the toughest in the region. Five sets of tees. We usually play the second set, from the back, at 74.8/150... Still a handfull.

As much as I would enjoy that Jay, I am still a kid and my parents would obviously not want me going up to a strange place with a strange man that I have met online.

(By strange I don't mean weird. I just mean "stranger".)

Here's a link to information on "rating" and "slope."
http://golf.about.com/cs/rulesofgolf..._determine.htm

If I were a very-low-handicap golfer, I'd be curious about the course's rating. But for a golfer of my ability (current handicap: 15.0), I don't pay attention to rating, I look at the slope. A slope of 113 is a course of average difficulty for a bogey golfer. I like to play courses where the slope is about 121 or so. Courses with slopes in the 130s tend to be too much for me.

I dont actually have a "Home Course" per say...I play about 4 or 5 different courses regularly in my home area.

I'm vacationing up at my Mom's place here in Maine right now for two weeks. The course I'm playing on is only 9 holes, has a rating of 66.1 and slope of 116. It's alright.

What course is this??? That is just outrageous...lol. Someone with a handicap of more than 5 might as well forget it on something like that! I would just take the fun out of it.

I'm guessing that it's the course Colbert built for KSU. Anything over 140 is considered difficult and 150 is just plain scary for anyone over a 2 handicap. What's your normal score?
