went out and played 36 today with a bunch of my buddies and after the first 18 we headed up to subway. On the way my friend told me how the last time he was eating there michelle wie walked in. Well sure enough we get halfway through our meal and sure enough she walks in. It was pretty crazy to see her like that. She was really quiet and made her parents order for her and just walked over to a table and started reading catwoman. She seemed very shy and almost annoyed when a lady asked her for an autograph. It was still exciting to see someone of her skill level, but i guess its easy to see these players since they all live in florida.
Well, now you know that it's not what she eats or what she reads that makes her so special, don't you?
Was she really as tall as she appears to be on TV? Did any of her magic rub off on you guys as you shot your second 18?
I think any of us would be annoyed to have people bothering us when we were trying to eat or read to sign an autograph. People want a little piece of you, a few moments of your attention and evidence of that moment in the form of your signature. It has to be maddening not to be able to go anywhere in public without stares, whispers, requests for pictures and autographs, and worse. But, that's the price one pays for being a star, but you have to be very a very special star not to resent that price.
I've seen her a number of times. She practices mostly at Pearl Country Club (this is where Monday qualifying for the Sony Open is held) here on Oahu. I play there every once in a while and you can usually find her there playing twilight after school (during the school year). I am 5'10" and I can say she is definitely as tall as advertised. When I walk by her, I have to look up towards her. She doesn't look like she's 14. In person, she could definitely be mistaken for someone in her 20's. I'm not sure if this is a good thing? I know women never want to look old but kids usually want to look older, right?
Oh, I also wanted to add that crossing paths with Michelle doesn't help my golf game one bit. I don't think crossing paths with even Tiger Woods would.
lol victory you are right she really is tall and could pass for 20 its pretty crazy to think she is only 14 years old. I dont think any of her magic rubbed of on me but i will say that my second 18 was much better so you never know. It is time for me to head out to bay hill though so i will see you guys in a couple of days with a report. have a good weekend
