basically but not really. i sent in my resume and was contacted by someone there about what i should do next. its a positive step considering most of the time they load your reume into a big system and forget about you.

Probably someone has already told you this, but study up about the company as much as you can. It will impress an interviewer if you not only know about the golf business in general but also know details about the company itself. Also, knowledge of the company will allow you to ask good questions. Sometimes I think that interviewees (such as you) score as many points by asking insightful questions as they do by giving good answers.

excellent point. i know tons about them because it has been a dream to work for them. but i am not naieve either and i realize i might hate a job in the industry but its worth a shot and i'll give it my best effort!!
