I used to keep track of stats like these but it became too much of a "downer" to record another missed green or another missed fairway. Luckily, I didn't have many 3 putts. Here are what my stats might look like, though:

Scoring average: 82
Drive average: 240 yards
Driving accuracy: 50%
GIR: 30%
Sand Saves: 15%
Putts: 30

Oh, another stats I used to keep track of is how often I get up and down. I remember, I missed every green on one nine once and managed to shoot 5 over for my round. I didn't know if I was supposed to be happy or not. My U/D % would be around 30%.

I had track of mine but haven't for about 3 weeks. How do you know your driving distance average all the way down to a point 14nsome?

Fairways:usually around 8
GIR:Usually around 12-13 (on good days more than 14, on bad days 10 or less)
Putts Per round: Usually 30 or so
Average score: 78 or so (might be a bit less, but is higher from the begining of the year)
Averahge driving distance: Usually spank it around 240-250
Up and Down %: I keep track of this one. 69.2% (this is what can make or break my round ups and down, thats why i keep track of them. I have the stats that when i do not hit alot of greens in reg and i have more than 75% of up ands it will still be a good round.)
Sand Saves:" Don't know but i am guessing 20-25% (need work out of here)

First, I think it's interesting to keep stats like this. Some people can't get enough of golf and they need to keep detailed stats. It can also be helpful to your golf game. You might notice a deficiency in one of your stats. Maybe you hit 70% of the fairways but 30% of the greens. This might tell you that you need to work on your irons. Or if you get up and down 30% of the time, you might want to work on your short game. Then there's putts for round. That's pretty straight forward right there but often times, this number can be low because you miss so many greens but get up and down often.

Rotberg mainly because I have a 115mph swing. But if you notice I have 28.5 driving accuracy too, Mainly because my feet will slip and it messes me up, but if I slow down I louse tempo. I wish my course let meeh use steel spikes at least they hold me to the ground, but every time I wear them I get blasted by the marshals. Im sure Greenguy could elaborate on why.
