Anyone know what the tiny numbers on the pro v1 and v1x are? I noticed there is a 6 a 2 a 4 and several 0's, also the V1x has V and a P on it. They are not Ink they are stamped into the cover.
This is all speculation as I have nothing to back this up but maybe it's some kind of serial # or batch # for the ball? From your post, it sounds like you're not talking about the 392 they have on the Pro V1 Improved which signifies the # of dimples but the numbers stamped into the cover that are inside the dimples?
I think they relate to the mould used _ the cover is moulded in two pieces and if there are any inconsistencies it's easy to pinpoint where the problem occurred
I think that victory is right its probalbly so kind of quality control tracking system. I only have ever had one prv1 that fished out of a water hazard. lol the one I have has a v, t, 3, and a couple of o's on it.
