Got ya beat by one putt. Two months ago I was playing a nice resort course in Hawaii (Kauai Lagoon's Keile course) and shot an 82 with 42 putts. Needless to say, my handicap would be a lot lower if I could putt.

If I don't learn to stop 3 putting, I'll never break 90. 3 putted on 14 greens yesterday. I even 4 putted on a green that looks like the Cingular logo.
I mean is there a worse feeling than putting for birdie and walking off the green with a bogey? Well shanking feels pretty horrible, but still.
2nd week of league play. I was plagued by the sh**ks last week.
This week, for the first 6 holes the sh**k mentality was there every time I pulled out an iron. I had a lot of contact close to the hosel, but no sh**ks. Finally, on #7, I realized I was too flat in my set-up. My clubs are 2* upright, and I noticed my hands were way too low. I straightened up a bit, moved the ball closer to my feet, and voila - a pure iron to the heart of the green. The next two holes were the same - it just felt good again.
I shot a 41, but with any putting/chipping skill at all it could have been a 38/39. Things could turn around again next round. I know that the next sh**k is out there waiting for me, its only a matter of time.
Also I'm falling in love with the TM 19* rescue with NV85R shaft. I hit it off the tee for the first 3 holes, which are really tight. Averaged around 225 right down the middle, slight draw. I'm in the process of ordering the 16* to match.
My driving was fantastic, I was hitting the ball too far if that's possible. The 3rd is a small 312yd Par 4 and I put out about 30 yards over the green.
Front- 39 3 bogeys, 6 pars
Back- 36 3 birdies, 3 bogeys, 3 pars.
75 with some bombs off the tee.
I am going to give credit to my new HX Hot balls and my epoch tees
69(-3) on the only private course in the area that I had(until today) never played. Dudley Hart and Jeff Sluman purchased this course a year or two ago.... the greens were without question as fast as anything I have ever putted on in my life.... had 2 three-jacks... but hit the ball as good as I think I ever have. No doubt an A +++++ day...
I took off early today for a friday afternoon at the range and to play 9. I played Mick Riley which is a short course. I usually play the back tees, but everybody was playing the white, so I joined them. After 4 holes I was 1 under and was just wondering how many under I could shoot. Then, reality set in and I ended up shooting 42. I drove into the houses on 8 (par 5) then hit into the water a couple of shots later.

Great round bobnaish. I don't even break 70 in my dreams. What's the name of the course ?

This is a course where a lot of beginners and families play. It's an easy 9 holer and there is nice par 3 course. I have been taking a few lessons from the pro there. He is a great guy. This is a course to build your confidence, but it hasn't been working out on the score card for me this season so far . There are a few very tough holes...it's not all easy. Shooting 40's from the whites is the reverse effect of what I had in mind. .
