well my last three rounds were 93/96/101 but the 101 had a +5 on a par 4, man this hole was a mess, left into the rough and then into the rough again....other than that it was a pretty good round for me, except my home course has recently pu the holes in some pretty tight spots, more than usual, it seemed like every hole was on a hill so there were no straight in putts...made it tough bu ti enjoyed it fully!!!

Horrible day...103...I should have gotten a 97, but I got 3 eight's!!!

Yet, I got three pars (should have gotten four, but I three-putted a par-3)...

I was hitting a lot of my drives low and pulling them to the left, so hopefully my pro can correct that during my lesson tomorrow.

Hopefully!

Finally, I can contribute to this thread.

Shot 76 today and hit 12/18 greens, only 6/14 fairways (misses avg'd less than 3 yds), only made 1 birdie. Not bad for first time in over 2 months playing. My "new" swing felt really good though and the changes I have made are starting to be automatic.

93, 96, 101, & last nite 95!!!

it is weird i could not even come close to breaking 100 and now i am so i feel great but i think the main reason is my putting, my putter is my friend anymore, well and my 7 iron!!!

I shot a 40 for 9 yesterday. More importantly, I finally got my 13 year old son out there. I got him to the range a couple of years ago but he's had no interest since. Apparently, now that a few of his buddies have taken it up it's "cool" and he's into it big time. Our 4-some was me, him & 2 other very raw 14 year-olds. Between swing & etiquette tips and looking for everyones ball I felt like I played about 36. We didn't hold anyone up though and 40 is my best 9 for the year, but I told him 1 friend at a time from now on. But I'm on cloud 9 ... my kid's finally into golf and can't wait to get out again & he hits a draw .... I couldn't hit one if my life depended on it.

I played ok today. I shot a 48 on the front (35.3/124) at White Manor. I actually had three streaks during that round. I first had a good streak (par, bogey, bogey, bogey). Then I had a bad streak. (+4, Double). Then I had a mediocre streak (Bogey [on a 300 yard par 4], bogey [on a 144 yard par 3], double [on the #3 handicap hole].

Oh well...I still got a decent score.

Well yesterday was .. an interesting one. Played a quirky course in Drumheller AB called Dinosaur Trail (www.dinosaurtrailgolf.com). Things started out decently on the front nine which is a typical style course shot a 46. The we travel across the street to the badlands section of the course and well it was INTIMIDATING. If you didn't hit the fairway off the tee you were down a hundred foot drop off on most holes. Well after I got over the initial shock I shot a par on the first hole, birdied the second..... and then went on to shoot a 53 including 6 penalty strokes  finished with a 99 which is ok for me at a brand new course .. but for this one you might want to take a guide with ya HAHAHAH

I played 36 holes today, 77 and 82. The 77 was a pretty good score and i was happy with it because i wasn't overly playing good enough to get that score just a few good bounces. Then the next 18. Actually i didn't even play that bad which is what makes me mad. (played bad the first round and the score didn't show, played good the 2nd round and it didn't show, what a game golf is eh?)
I was doin good, then all of a sudden i get a 9 on a par 5 and then i get a 7 on a par 4, then everything went back to normal, it was like for 20 minutes the golf gods lashed out at me and then they thought i had enough for now.7 over in 2 holes and 10 over in 18 so the other 16 holes i was 2 over. The thing is neither the triple nor the quad had any penalty strokes, it was just flat out bad golf, both of them had 3 putts, both had chunked/flubbed shots, both had duffs, they had everything, it was like a brain cramp in golf like i forgot how to swing comnpletley. I also have been fighting a pull hook latley which is getting me mad.
Hopfully i don't have any blow up holes tomorrow for a tournament, by looking at the course rating it doesn't look like i can afford it. (73.8, 129 slope or something i think)

You played 36 holes?!! Do you walk 'em? Jeez, and I felt exhausted this morning after playing 18... of course I did play 18 yesterday and today, and I got 3.5 hours of sleep.

Hi all,

Shot an 88 at a slightly easier course than my own, dropping back to 19.0 handicap tomorrow.....havn't decided if that's a good thing or not

Cheers,
Jim
