no no no you got it backwards. I made the eagle with an HX Hot, so it will be confusing finding the eagle ball. I guess I am just gonna save all 3 balls that I used today.

This early in the season there isn't too much rough to speak of and of the 11 fairways I missed most were only a few yards off.

Played my first round at a par 3 course today. I needed to practice my irons. Shot an 81. Everything was good except my putter. Still 3 putting alot. The greens were very fast, but that is no excuse. Hit some very nice shots in the strong wind though. A 7I to 10 feet on the 13th. 3 putted.

Snuck out late this afternoon and got 9 in after some thunderstorms. Shot a 41. 6 FiR, 2 GiR, and 15 putts. 5 pars, 3 bogeys, 1 double bogey.
Guy I played with played the thinnest blades i've ever seen, he even carried (and hit) a 1 iron! Some kind of Maxfli's... I was amazed! He shot 35.

First round with the new HiBORE driver! :o)

I drove pretty well (and in control!), but didn't score well at all. Oh well, it was fun playing with the new toy.

I did! The fairway that I missed was the best drive. I had a looong way to hit over a creek. I did and it landed right on the cart path past the bridge and bounced through the fairway. I only had 170 to the green to hit the par 5 in 2, but the ball was on a hill...feet above. I hit it low as expected, but pretty straight. It ended up in the rough by the green. I chipped from there and hit the flag. I hit it a little too firm and the ball would have rolled downhill probably off the green if it missed the flag. I knocked in the 3 footer for bird.

...I did!

I shot a 56 in the first "official" night of my 9-hole league. Driving was ok, but I was putting like a sp---um, like Tiger.
I guess we did ok though. My partner and I took 13 out of an available 20 points.

Played 18 on my home course today...shot 84 (41,43). Kind of a ***** because they were sanding and aerating the greens. Putting and chipping were slow as all get out but I adjusted well.

it can only improve from there. For me, anything under 50 is good but if its 45 or under its great!
