Went out and walked 9 today. Greens were aerated on Sunday, back 9 was closed b/c greens were aerated yest.
I shot a 2 over 38. 5 FiR, 6 GiR, and 17 putts. I REALLY wish the back would have been open, b/c my ball striking was great and the back is the easier side.

thanks

just add up all the strokes you took that day and that is your final score.

Shot an +18 89 (49,40) on a course I've never played today. As you can see it took me almost the whole front nine to get a feel for it.

Today was the day when nothing went right. I shot 42 on a par 35 course. I only hit 3 fairways and 1 green and couldn't make a putt.

Played 27 today!

GR virtual match against Absolut. Lost by a stroke! First round with the new hybrid and 3 wood. I really liked hitting the hybrid at the range before playing and hit a couple of good shots with it. The 3 wood wasn't as easy to hit at the range, but I hit it well both shots during the rounds. Walked 27 holes and boy am I tired! The other 9 was for the men's league.

GR league virtual match against keith. No score from keith yet. Very poor play. Didn't do much right...tired after already walked 18 before this. ;)

Great day for playing 27 holes!

I shot an 88 on a 6100 yard course in Santa Ana, CA.
I was playing very well on the front nine with a +5, but on the back nine I fell apart, and fatigue was a huge factor. My back nine included 2 double bogies and a triple bogey on a par3!!!

Still pleased with my score and cant wait to play again next Monday

shot an 82 at brookside in pasadena, CA playing from the gold tees. There was a tournament there last week and the rough was nasty , and thick. The greens were faster than normal , and about 300 yards was added.

First time under 80 today........Game came together and shot a 76 from the back tees. (Blues) The big improvement came from the long par threes, where the 24* Mizuno Fli Hi hybrid, that I bought from the guy for 10 bucks, was easier to hit long as any long 3 iron I ever hit. Thanks to GR, I also tried a Cobra Baffler 20* today and will buy it, as it was accurate ,and long from fairways on long par fours. Driver and 4FW reached out real well. Putts were 29. ,

I may add the 20* Hybrid. and retire the 3 and 4 iron. Thanks GR for all the posts about hybrids. I was wrong about how they help the long iron game. Old guy is stubborn...LOL

Course was dry and good roll, but dangerous left or right, and the two guys I played along with got out of bounds often on their drivers rollout . High Driver ballflight works well on hard surface. Teeing up about a quarter inch higher, and playing it off left heel, really helped ballflight.

Thanks Bros on GR!

Congrats on shooting 70's for the first time and easily breaking 80. Have fun with the hybrid. I just played my first round with a hybrid. I bought a Callaway 20 degree Fusion. Fun club!

woo! Broke 80 (38/41) for the 1st time playing from the tips at my home course! (6,911 yards). And in the rain on top of that!
9 FiR, 10 GiR, and 32 putts. Three 3-putts kept me from having an even better round!
