PLayed golf with the missus yesterday.... I really should stop watching her swing as it really mucks up my own when I do. Never hit so many duff shots as I did yesterday.

OUCH, that could leave a mark, especially if she is a member of Golf Rewind.

No golf for me today...tried fly fishing in high/muddy flows...not much fun compared to golf on a nice day. It was raining, though. The courses should be nice and green over the next several days. ;) I'm playing 18 for my weekly virtual GR league match tomorrow. I hope the weather is a lot nicer!

She's still learning, so its hard not to have to watch her take her shots. Though really I'd rather leave the coaching to the golf pro.

Its just that my game was starting to settle down quite nicely until then & I found myself somehow making the daftest miss-shots you could imagine...lol

Lets just say I'd previously gotten my scores down to 37 - 44 (39 on average) over 9 holes. But that day I mounted up a 51. embaressing is not the word. Ironically she posted her best ever of 85 over 9 holes. Hardly earth shattering, but seeing as she has had scores of in the region of the 130's for 9 holes it shows some good has come of her having a lesson already.

I shot an 85 yest. (42/43). Horrible round. Bad putting + bad ball striking=disaster. 7 FiR, 7 GiR, and 38 putts.
The only thing that kept me in the 80s was that I drove the ball great. Very long and in play off the tee.

I shot an 85 at a local course here named Swan Hills. One Birdie and the rest pars and bogeys. My putter really saved me today!

I let my fellow Boomer's Bombers teammates down on the back nine today by shooting a 48 after a 38 on the front. My golf game was somewhere else today. Home?

Here is the scorecard:

http://www.mygolfdomain.com/round_view.php?round=1562

I did make a birdie putt on #18 that helped the men's league team win the back nine and tie for 1st for the 18. I also won a big skin on #9 ($34.75 plus possibly a skin in the twilight play).

The greens were in outstanding condition...lots of snow during the winter, lots of rain/snow early spring, and some rain yesterday.

Men's League tournament. GR Virtual league match against Absolut. HOG virtual league match against kiwi. Very poor putting and short game overall. Hit a lot of greens, but irons weren't particulary good, either.

Scorecard:

http://www.mygolfdomain.com/round_view.php?round=1572

Well...at least I was scoring okay and hitting greens on the front even though I couldn't sink a putt...then it got pretty ugly on the back nine. The team was in next-to-last place when I left with just a few teams out. I think I won a skin on #12, though...there were only 6 or so players in the flight left and 8 skins were still alive including mine on #12.

The weather was spectacular. When we finished 18 a storm came in. Great timing, but the storm soon passed.
