GR virtual league weekly score. Weekly noon game.

Shot 80 (41-39) with 34 putts (20-14).

http://www.mygolfdomain.com/round_view.php?round=2001

Pretty much out of it...too many putts again, but finished with six pars in a row. Team won the back and 18. Nice second day of summer. :o)

Had the low gross on the back nine last week with the 34, won a $32 skin on #4, and an $8.50 skin on #10 plus the two skins in the noon game. I play in the front/back twilight and skins plus the noon game team Chicago format and skins Thursdays...lot to play for each week there.

I have been shotting quite good these past two days. My handicapp is 19.

Yesterday I shot 86(44-42) and 85(45-40) today. My putting has been excellent, probably because I have been demoing a Ping MiniC putter these past two rounds and it has really turned my putting around. Keep this up and my handicap will drop in no time. :)

No golf today...caught my first smallmouth bass today and with a fly rod. Very cool...a few rainbows, too.

Shot a 80 today. It was my best round in 2 years but I'm a little disappointed since I was sitting at +6 after 16, only to double 17. I want to break into the 70s again!

Pistol wore me out 4 & 0 on the front, but I rallied for a 1 up win on the back and my last hole birdie won the press on the 18 to flat the days match.

I couldn't make a putt again today. I had 40 putts in Day 1 in my favorite tournament of the year...the Art City Amateur at Hobble Creek. Fortunately, I had a personal best since tracking my stats in greens hit in regulation. I hit 14 greens today in regulation. It was a low to mid 70's round with average putting, but my putting was worse than average. The pins were tournament pins...pretty tough, but 40 putts is still too many.

The weather was great and the course was in fine shape. The greens weren't quite as lush and fast and they have been in this tournament before, but very nice. We just haven't had any rain at all in a while for one thing. The condition is still excellent, though.

Here is my scorecard. I shot a 78 (39-39).
http://www.mygolfdomain.com/round_view.php?round=2016

Wish me luck in Round 2. I probably would have to shoot around par to have a chance to win anything.

Hacked my way around for an 80 today, only one for card & i'll have a handicap...

My putting stroke was on but i was always half a rotation too short, man i hate that.I did have a decent 15 footer from off the green, for bird, tho.
I guess when i get my handicap,i can have something to aim at,cause at the moment im up n down like a yoyo :|

I thought so, too. 14 out of 18 greens and a couple of the fringe should mean par or better, but the greens were tough and the putting stroke wasn't very good. It will be interesting to see how I do today with hitting the greens and putting.
