That's true. But $$ is a factor in how much I get to play. I'm fortunate in that my work allows me to play early afternoons on weekdays, so I rarely wait much unless stuck behind the occassional clueless wonders. I haven't played on a weekend in 3 years. I almost regreted our decision when I saw 3 groups ahead of us waiting to tee off. But they all knew what they were doing & the waits subsided by #4 & by the back it was smooth sailing.

played my friend a match today for £10, flat match, he plays off 9.

won it at 17 with a birdie!

counted out my gross score and i finished with a 79. Very happy with this as I've been playing some awful golf recently. Hopefully getting back on track, my clubs Winter Cup is nect Saturday.

was hitting it well all day off the tee ...
the irons werent terribly sharp tho , tiny tiny greens so i didnt think to much of it . chipping was fair , greens cored and sanded less than a week ago so a lot of chips and putts came up short
rewinding the clock explained how i scored so bad tho ...solid "never in trouble" round of 81- 11 over
11 tap in bogies and no birds
1 green in regulation and i managed to 3 putt it ...haha
