Shot an 88 today...nothing like slowing sliding backwards...used a new putter today with high hopes...6 3 putts and 3 2 putts from inches off the green...that together with missing chips from 5 yds and less off the green for 2 putts 4 times and two girs into the sand from under 80 yds (missed the up and down from the sand both times despite being 6 and 5 feet from the hole) makes me a poster child for short game practice...good news is my long irons which I have been working on like crazy were very good (3 girs from 190, 210 and 230)need to spend some time on the rest of the game now...driver, wedges and putter, driver, wedges and putter...

I shot one over par for 6 holes while playing from the blues. Extremely happy.

I played 6 holes this afternoon, too. I thought it would be early enough to start, but it was really slow.

I shot a pure 8 iron, couple of really nice drives, and one good short approach shot.

The approach shot was a long "chip" down a big hill that ended up pin-high...crazy hole...the green is below the fairway and just past a hill. The entire green has a severe slope and balls often roll way off the green. It was about 60 yards for that shot. I made the birdie putt, too.

Four of the pars were Up-and-Downs. Two of them from a bunker.

79 today following 74, 75 my last two rounds, which included an eagle and two birdies on tough holes (first round) plus three birdies in a row (second)...can't play well all the time I guess. The radar showed absolutely no precipitation nor threat of any nearby, but I guess they were wrong...I played in a steady drizzle the entire time. The greens are pretty much immaculate right now with the aeration having come early in the fall and the lack of play right now. Even though I didn't drop a lot of putts today, it's not because they're bouncing all over the place like they can get in the summer.

79. Par on first six holes then bogey on 7, 8 and 9 for 39 on front. Back nine shot par, 5 bogeys in a row, par, birdie, par to come in with 40 for a total of 79. Irons going left and couldn't drop a putt on the back which is easier than the front. Sometimes we get in our own way I guess. Still glad to break 80 after really trying hard to throw it away, lol.

Shot an 88 today (46 front, 42 back) Only missed a couple of fairways, putted like poop! If I could ever get all my game together on one day... My wife went with me today, and we had a blast though. I would rather shoot 95 and have her go with me than shoot 80 and be alone!

I shot a personal best 78 today. But I played the front nine twice because the back was too crowded and I wouldn't have finished if I tried to play it.

My new Ping G5 definately helped.

Congrats on the personal best!

I shot 77 on what was one of our prettiest days in a while...front came through last night, and we had about 20 mph out of the northeast. Was beautiful and sunny, though.

Nice job on the PB, aggiefreak!!

Myself, I had an 80 yesterday...my last 4 rounds have been 74, 75, 79, 80...getting worse as I go. Hopefully there are a few rounds to go before the snow sticks to improve upon that.
