Yep...a quarter of a mile from Trinity Bay, just east of Houston. We get a little winter, but occasionally can play in shorts in January. That part's great. Summer can be a bear with 90% humidity and 98 degrees, though. There's a trade-off for every advantage. You guys have prettier springs and falls, and cooler summers. I've always said that if I could, I'd spend spring and fall here, summer in New England, and winter in Mexico.

Nice...no, great...round. 48 points is awesome. As a tournament director, I don't have a problem with someone having a career day. Heck, everyone of my career days has occurred in tournaments. Sometimes you just get in a zone. Sure is fun!

I shot an 82 today, which again is good for me. I may jinx myself, but I think I'm out of my slump.

Shot a 78 this morning and on the way home I realized I turned 78 on election day and that I shot my age for the 36th time. Its been almost a year since the last time because I havn't played much golf this year.

shoot an 83 on a course that i haven't been to in a while. this course plays 6500 yards long(some how). the second nine is a executive course that was extended.
now for the best part, we played pasture golf, or a least it seemed like it. they overseeded the greens. which was fine, but thet had not been cut for a least a week, grass doesn't grow all that fast this time of year, but some greens had grass over an inch tall, couldn't tell where the green began or ended on some. i had the best day of putting ever, anything close was going in.
iv'e been looking at another putter, same type but center shafted, it's amazing how well your putter works when it may be replaced.

Congratulations...36 times!

Have you ever watched the Shoot Your Age tournament on TV? Here is their website. Anyone that shoots their age can be "certified" in a database...not that anyone needs it, but it's a cool novelty.

33 out 37 back (missed a 6' birdie putt to break 70 on 18). Winter greens here in north-east Scotland, much shorter course and a par of 64... still, a 6 over is not bad for me. Cold, breezy but sunny & dry.

57. Got darked off the course after 14 holes, but I did hit all 11 fairways that I played. Was 2 over with 4 holes left.

played on saturday (not sure if i posted about this round) but played very well. Shot an 82 surprisingly with 28 putts and only 1 GiR. 9/13 FiR's and the 4 i missed were when i hit my fairway wood and hybrid (i was trying out a R7 460 with a V2 Reg in it (10.5*) and it was amazing). Had my longest drive ever with it on the 18th hole which felt really good and it also felt good when i knocked my second shot onto the green and two putted to par the last hole and go home happy... Short game was on fire with one chip in and three that lipped out so couldve shot in the 70s but im not mad. Can't wait to play again but that probably wont be until next year... Gonna buy a HiBORE 3 wood and a Rescue Mid in the next week or two so that i can have a full set for next season...

Saturday's round actually. Played a new course. We had to wait 'til after it stopped raining, so it got too dark to finish, but we got in 13 holes.
Front 9 score: 43.

I put my clubs in the closet yesterday. Mother Nature began preparing the mountains for snowboarding. It was very stormy last night and hailed part of today yet the sun came out to say "Hi.".
