Played well in a larger sense today...shot an 80 on my par 70 shortened to a 69 today...was +1 on the harder front side then lost focus for a +10 on the back...lost the feeling and it never came back...funny thing is I am still missing girs, only had 3 today, but have been getting up and down like crazy (and my misses aren't on the fringe unfourtunately)...lesson with my friend's pro on Saturday...

Might just be us on here for awhile...shot a miserable 92 today with third degree burns on my hand (hot caramel for almond brittle gone awry)...club did not feel comfortable in my hands all day and hooked 6 balls ob with various clubs after having only one in the last 4 rounds...lesson with my friend's pro tomorrow...burns won't keep me away!

Forgot to add that it was an unusually humid 94*F at 7am this morning...

I am usually a victim of this. From my experience when you cant go out and play golf you don't want to talk about it. You want to try and forget it or brush it off.

Played nine holes today at the local Muni, and shot a 44. Not really that great but on one of the par 3's I landed short -- then chipped in the hole for a birdie! That made my day. ; )

Played 9 today at my home course, but played up a set of tees for a change of pace. I tied a personal best even par 36 for 9. Should have been 35, though, missed a 2 foot putt (but my friend gave it to me). 2 birdies and one double.

Shot a 73 one over today at The Bull at Boones Trace in Richmond, KY. Really short course at 6400 yards. Even on the front and one over on the back. I was two under going to hole 17 and ended one over for the round. It was my best score of the year, but as I was walking to hole 17 it was looking to be the best around of my life.

I went snowboarding in the morning yesterday for the season opener and played 18 today in jeans and a t-shirt. Can't beat that.

I shot some good drives and only a couple good approach shots. That's about it. No putts worth mention, no scores worth mention, and didn't bother to putt out most of the time...just messing around and having fun with the driver. There was no way that I would break 80 the way things were going especially with the putter.

Golf a day after snowboarding...sweet.

Shot an 87 on Sunday. One of my worst rounds in recent history. Partially because I couldn't keep the ball in bounds off the tee, but also because it took almost 5 1/2 hours to play, and I don't care who you are, you cannot get any rhythm going when you have to wait to hit EVERY SINGLE SHOT! These guys were not only horrible players, but they didn't have a lick of ettiquette or common sense as how to move around a golf course.

So I shot an 87, but I'm over it.

Office closed early so I skipped out for 9 at Savannah Harbour (host of Champions Tour 'Legends of Golf' event)....43...I don't hook the ball...but today I was hitting hooks with a capital H. As usual, play a nice course and hit the ball like a 36 handicapper..(see my post on 'don't you hate it when' thread......I had to hit the range for an hour afterwards to figure it out....I did, so there is hope for next time.

Took off early and played a nice little course close to our office. Par 71, I shot 76. Pair of matched 38's. I made myself work on nothing but swinging smoothly to a good finish. Once I aligned myself starting from behind the ball, I forgot about the target and just tried to put a good swing on it. I actually managed to do it for a change. Amazing how close you can hit it to the hole when you get aimed and then never think about direction again until you look up to see the ball headed to the green.
