I am glad some people are doing well...I slide deeper and deeper into my slump despite numerous visits to my pro, driving range and short game area...seems every time I go to practice or play I lose something else...I hit a putt fat today- who does that? Shot an awful 58 for 9 holes with every bad shot imaginable included...top, fat, thin, shank, ob, water hazard, next fairway, lost ball, bladed chip, multiple 3 putts, bunker to bunker...going to see my friend's pro next week, but at this point I am feeling more than discouraged...

I got to play this morning for the first time in a week (weather), and ended up walking the course alone because my regular group didn't show. It was still 45, windy, and VERY wet. Shot 77, with a couple of lip outs down the stretch. Had fun, even though i was alone. There was a total of 5 golfers on the course while I played.

Darn, that Pistol is tough - it's hard enough to beat him at the golf, and today when I do he beats me with some savvy betting.

More garbage...a 97...that makes the last three rounds in the high 90s...things aren't looking good...I am in a competition tomorrow as well and then I get my lesson I have been waiting for...bad news is that I got up and down 9 times...that 97 was purely tee to green and that IS painful...

Look on the bright side... It is easier to get a better long game then it is to get a better short game. You are blessed as far as that goes. Just keep working on the rest as well.

I appreciate the kind words, but you don't even know the half of how hard I've been struggling...I didn't hit one clean shot with an iron above a pw today...the worst part about my struggles is that I am progressively getting worse despite daily practice and play...

Time to get a second set of eyes involved then. I am not saying run out and get lessons. Just maybe get someone that knows a lot about the game to take a few looks.

Also, as stupid as this sounds. KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE **** BALL! This is something that is so small, yet SOOOOOO very important.

i can tell you right now, you're worrrying about tomorrow too much! a couple of years ago, i had a high dollar best ball scramble and a couple of weeks before that, i was have trouble with blading the ball dead right, won't mention that word lol, i woould think i'd have it fixed, not! worried to death about that tournament, played horrible, then to make it worse, the, you know what, showed up and i was finished. i felt so bad to let my partners down. and we we close to the top regardless. you know, after that everything went back to normal and actually have been improving.
