I shot a 90. not too bad, but could ahve been way better. driving, short irons, wedges, and short game were ON today, but couldn't putt to save my life. I had 7 pars and 2 birdies... do the math. If I didn't play the hole like a pro, I polayed it like a 30 handicapper...
Tee'd of the back, the tougher of the two 9's, and shot an even par 36. 2 birdies, and on the last hole of that 9 I almost had a double-eagle. It rolled around the pin and stopped to 6 feet. Of course I lip out the eagle putt and only make birdie. Fell apart on the last 9 (front) as I hit a ball OB on one of them.
Shot 71. Not to bad, just starting to get the scoring back now that my drivings sorted. Pretty happy with the short game, got alot of up-and-downs I really shouldnt of got.
Me and a buddy of mine played nine holes yesterday and I parred four holes By far the best round of golf I have ever played. Not bad for someone who just started playing about six months ago if I do say so myself. I am sooooo stoked. Can't wait to get back out there to see if I was just lucky that day or if I am starting to get the hang of it a little.
I shot 88. played ok. 3 wood was on today and driver was not. 3 wood was going about 250-265 where i wanted it to go, so i didn't bother pulling the big stick. the flat stick was letting me down a bit, but wedge and short irons were good as usual. the par 3's were good, though. one was 166 yards and i hit an 8 iron to 15 feet. one was 145 yards and i hit a low 9 iron to 3 feet. i butchered the par 5's and shot 43, 45.
shot a 103 sat. i had been shooting and the 90's all summer until recently and a personal best 89 earlier in the summer but lately i cant break 100...oh well all i can do is keep playing
Shot a 97 on Saturday at a new course. The greens were insane so putting was very challenging but still managed to only have four-3putts and even got a birdie to boot. Very pleased. The goal of breaking 95 before the season ends is getting more an more realistic.
Edit: I forgot to mention that we got paired with another twosome and one of the guys only had one leg. He had a prosthetic leg from the knee down. He had one of the most messed up swings I have ever seen, but it's what worked for him and he could hit the ball very well. He had lost his leg some 20 years ago, but it was still a joy to see him out there playing. Oh yeah, he shot in the mid 80's. I got beat by a guy with one leg.

90 at Orange County National. Played the Panther Lake Course from the green tees (6849 yards). I played like ****. par 3's were ok. tee shots just ******,but approach shots were pretty good. if you can't work the ball both ways, don't play here...
