shot a 9 hole best round of 39!

I played 18 Friday with a few co-workers. The season is about over here. This might be my last round of the season.

I shot a 2 over 74 and holed out from 60-70 yards with a 60 degree wedge on #18 for my only eagle of the season. Nice way to end it.

Played 9 holes yesterday hit 38 thats 2+. Overall i enjoyed it the courses here are starting to feel the effects of the weather more now,so any golf at all is to be appreciated.

I played my first 18 yesterday at The Hamptons in Hampton, VA.

The course was a Woods front 9 and and Lakes back 9.

My overall game was just horrible yesterday. I couldn't drive at all and my iron game was just as bad.

I lost an entire pack of palls.

I ended up shooting a 118 overall. My buddy shot a 110.

played Tobacco road yesterday...listed in the top 50 toughest golf courses in america and shot 96...happy considering i havent played in a month!! had a great time too...everyone should play there once!!

Last round of the year.... on Wednesday....50*F outside. Started with a double bogey on a par 3 to begin...took me four holes to hit a green in regulation. Made 3 birdies, (1 front and two on the back)...was two over on each nine. 38/37 on a par 71 track. Finished with three straight bogies. It was so cold on the back nine that my hands had very little feel for the last five holes. But I have no complaints about a 75.

Played at sharpstown today from the white tee (6292 yards), shot 88. Putting was poor, 36 putts total, but my irons and my driving were spot on. Hit 9 out of 13 fairways, hit 3 greens in 5 par 3, the other two par 3 required bunker shot, which I hit 10-15 feet from the hole (alas didn't make the putt).

Overall very happy with progress.

The thing that I have been working on is my arms used to break away from my body when I make the downswing, as my natural body turn temp is very quick. Now I put a little more strength in my arms and shoulders to follow the rotation of my body so they stay connected. I used to have a lot of open push and slice shots, now it's straight or draw.

Played the University of Illinois Blue Course today. 55* and a light rain and a 20-25mph wind. played pretty good, considering i haven't played a round in 3 weeks. shot a -1, 71. 37 on the front and a 34 on the back.... ended with 3 straight birdies. first round with my new driver (Titleist 907D2) and new FW (906F2).... wish i would have had them earlier. if the conditions would have been better i'm pretty confident that i would have shot a mid-60s round.

Shot 88 Saturday...Played well until 16 (had an 8) and 17 (had a 7) but came back and birdied 18. My highlight was reaching a 493yd par 5 in 2 with 3 iron, 3 iron (hitting driver like ****)....too bad i missed the eagle putt, and also missed another eagle putt. Still chasing that **** first eagle!!

shot a 96 sat. had fun...3 putted twice for bogey ...did have a birdie and few pars...overall fun day and awesome weather!!!! also on par 4 338 yard 17 almost drove the green..about 20 yards from the green...sweet!!!

Not too bad today, although there are a few things that I need to focus on...hit alot of fairways but placement wasn't the best, leaving approaches that were more difficult than they ought to be...good day on and around the greens although I missed every birdie chance...11/13 fairways, 7 gir, 27 putts...39/39 78.

I went snowboarding yesterday for the first time this season...golf is a long way away here, but the waiting begins.

played 9 at the U of IL Orange Course today. shot a +2 38. iron play wasn't my best... ground was saturated and effected my game a little. only hit 2 GIR, hit 3 fairways driving. putting was great, only 12 putts. this wind was horrible 30-35mph sustained winds from the south. oh well, it's always nice to get a little golf in in January.

I shot a 68 today with a double bogey and 1 3-putt. Had 5 birdies and an eagle though.
