lets take a guess
shes not skilled enough to eagle a par 4 so its gotta be on a par 5
her Gorilla like drive , followed by a 5 wood onto the green
and holy smoke batman , she fluked a putt
Shot an 81 today and the last five holes where played in "lose the ball and you are done mode" I go into this mode when it gets too dark to see. I give myself one ball and when I loose it then I quit. Never expected to finish out. It is interesting because you cannot see the ball you have to go by feel on where you think you hit the ball. I also managed to par the last hole in total darkness, no easy task for a 435 yard par where you have to go by houselights as your aiming targets.
played Jims course today
ripped a drive down the par 5 10th tail wind
then a 7wood onto the green
only prob is , the drive ripped my calf muscle , well it made it worse than it was ....some wayward shots coming home and a double on the easiest hole , i knew i had the right club - just forgot to allow for the really strong side wind , plop bunker time .....came out a little long , safety first tho
then the putt slipped past and i missed the return argh
finished 6 over .... should be in the prizes was VERY windy and cold

it was a par4!!!!!!
It wasnt a very good drive either..... but the second shot was pure!!!!
FINALLY played our course. Shot 77. Not bad for the first time seeing it and I made some stupid MENTAL mistakes.
You're a golf pro at a private club (I realise it is just opening) and you'd NEVER played the course!!!???? That's funny - we've been looking into changing memberships recently, and wouldn't consider changing courses until we've played a new one a few times... But to be a pro at a course?
Shot 118... played my best front 9 ever at 57. It doesn't sound very good, but I just felt so much more confident with my short game, especially chipping, on both the front and back 9, but moreso in the middle. I almost chipped a few in, and just visualized where I wanted the ball to go. It went in that general direction more or less, and except for the few mental blocks I had where I would just blade a chip/pitch (ughhh, very frustrating), I played my short game pretty well.
I even had a sand escape where I hit the ball perfectly out of the sand, putting backspin on it, landing it 2 inches away from the hole. Someone was giving me tips on how to hit out of the sand, as I often forget to follow through. He was literally not quite finished giving me tips, I got the general idea, stepped up, my mind clear, and smacked it perfectly.

Easiest way I was tought to get out of the sand is this:
1. Line your clubface up where you want to ball to go.
2. Line your feet up left of the target with the ball slightly back in your stance.
3. Now swing along your feet line (big outside in swing) trying to hit the sand behind the ball about 1 inch (depending on what kind of sand your playing, here its one 1 inch cause the sand is usually hard)
I just played my first round of Golf since Masters weekend (exams, followed by a nasty basketball foot injury) I shot a 91 which was about five strokes above what I would have liked but I made a PB 3 birdies.
Got up yesterday to discover that the sun was shining! Had to make the most of it, so I dragged my husband out. I hit 30 for 6 holes and we were on the 7th when a greenkeeper told us we couldn't hit off the fairway without a mat. I was really furious - there were no signs in the pro shop or the clubhouse about it and neither me or my husband had mats with us so we had to give up at that point.
I was pleased with my 30 for 6 holes though as my best ever full round was 100.
