GG, when you get consistently good with that putter, you are going to be a very dangerous individual! Good job!

Cheers,

Merry Christmas to all

shot a 39 for 9 holes...pity it is only a par 60 executive course...I have done a 36 on it...wish I could post that for 9 holes on a par 72...wishful dreaming I guess. but if I do 95 on a par 70 or 72, I had a darned good day. It is frustrating to birdie a few, then par a few, then tripple bogey a bunch...golf can be a frustrating game, but for some reason after 40 years, I keep coming back. Don't seem to get a lot better, but having a lot of fun all these years. But my short game has come a long way in the last 6 months since I have really been working on it. I get out in the front yard and spend an hour or so pitching and chipping several times a week. It has really helped.

If you start knocking in some putts GG, that handicap is going to disappear completely.

Well, it's been 17 days and counting since I missed a green or a fairway...but I have a beaut of an igloo in my front yard & I'll be doing some skiing this week.

Yea, I was putting for eagle about 1 meter off the green, 3 putted arghhh I'm going up soon with my sister(pinky), so I'll post both of our scores on here when we finish!....I'm going to try and get her a handicap, she'd be good enough for a 54 I think, if she cuts out that 6 putting on some holes lol Must run in the family :nodsmiley

Do you count every stroke with a putter as a putt.... fringe, off-fringe, etc. GG? If you do your putting stats aren't really that bad. It's only a putt if it's on the green... at least that's how I figure mine. Great score anyway.

yes I do, I putted it because the pin was only 2 yards on the green.... I only had 1 birdie tho and I had 15 birdie oppurtunities, oh well!

Wazmankg, I uploaded a photo from yesterday at Totaradale, the one that you said you could break 80 easily on..... it's not THAT easy.
Or maybe you were talking about Greenacres? hmmmm...

So all this time I've been feeling sorry for you, thinking you were a bad putter and you count everything you hit with the putter as a putt You're probably really around 31 per round. If you're not actually on the green then it technically isn't a putt, no matter what club you use. I saw the new picture & that's some beautiful country. The hole doesn't look too bad. I'd just stay left... driver & a 9 or PW should do it. Now, I've never said I could break 80 easily anywhere, though I did break 40 for 2 separate 9s this year on rather short tracks out with my son & my mom.
