So you whiffed on a putt GG ? 43 putts, oooh that has to sting. Did you miss ANY greens in reg ? Sounds like you hit just about all of them from your score and putting stats. Are these the only courses close to you ? Sounds like you need more course or to move back a set of tees. If you're driving it over 225 the ladies tees are too short for you.

Great shooting jackamo,

Today was an 85 (45/41) first 9 was a bad lack of concentration with the lob wedge and putter saving what felt like it should have been a lot worse.

Cheers,
Jim

Great round jackamo! I am so envious of all of you that get to play, that I can no longer torture myself by visiting this thread.

So...Starting right now.......I ban myself from reading about your great rounds (and the not so great but at least you're playing rounds) until I get to play my first round of 2005. Enjoy your time on the course and I WILL catch up on all the posts here when I post my first "What did you shoot today?" score.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to pout......for who knows how long!

Cheers,

Just back from the course, played my first full round with my new irons, my mizuno mp-30s, shot a 79. Very pleased with it, as the ground was absolutely drenched due to 3 solid days of rain, and the temperature was very low today, it was hovering around 4 degress C.

Definately does, its a great feelin! Thought it could be put down, in some cases as "NCS (New Club Syndrome) where for the first few rounds you play well with them, then go back to normal!

Went out to torture myself a little today. Shot a 96. Not making excuses but I tried the new lob wedge out today. And I belive that is the hardest to hit club I have ever had in my hand. I can't figure it out. at the end I was getting a little better with it when I kept my hands ahead of the ball .But the expermenting with the new wedge cost me about 3 or 4 strokes. But that's golf! I will just go back and try again...
