Good luck, and don't try too hard, stay focused and swing smooth. Tempo and balance are the tricks to straightening out the woods.

hey thanks...i actually left a few out there on the course with a triple at the 2nd and 18th but other than that i had 4 pars which is the most i have ever had in one round....mainly bogeys and double bogeys.............those two triples almost killed me to write don on the card but i can feel my game and my swing starting to come together well.........i think i am going to hit the range at least two more times before i play again, wanna work on that swing tempo wghich is starting to work well for me.....

Shot 2 over on the short 9 hole course. Had 14 putts and only missed one fairway. It's a really easy little course, but I'll take it anyday.

Played a mixed up 18 last evening. I played the holes out of order cause I was skipping around people trying to get done before dark, but I did get in all 18. Shot an 80. No doubles, which was good, and finished off the round with pars on 8 of the last 10 holes. Hope to play solidly tomorrow on a more difficult course than my home one. The driver was finding the short grass a lot last night and if I can hit my irons as solidly as I did the last few holes I played and putt decently I can still shoot a good score I think.

I do the same thing quite a bit and it's surprising how often my scores are lower. I think it's because I'm not worried about a score, but just trying to play each hole as well as I can because it might be the last hole I get to play that day. Golf....what a game!

I shot an 81 today. My putter let me down again. I have had at least 6 chances to shoot mid to high 70s but my putter is very very bad.

87, second round of Junior Club Championship. The guy who I was tied for first with thru one round, shot 88. Unluckily, his handicap is 3 strokes higher than mine. End of story, I'm in second place. Luckily, my brother won A-Flight and now he knows my joy from last year. I can only hope I won something good for 2nd place. I know for a fact that he won something worthwhile.

86 today on a much tougher course than my home. Could have been a much better round with even a decent iron game. The whole back nine I was hitting beautiful drives which were setting me up with mid- and short-irons into the long par 4s I was playing, but hit some of the worst irons shots I've hit in years. Just couldn't get it done with the irons but was putting beautifully. One three putt (misread) on a rather treacherous set of surfaces and had a lot of up and downs just to save bogeys after hitting a terrible iron approach. Like I said, if I had struck my irons even normally I could have been mid-70s easily but everything can't go right at once I guess.

I played so-so today. Shot a 99. Should have gotten a 96, but on the 17th (par 5) I chunked my third shot into the water so then I got on in 5 and 3-putted.

I had a couple duck hooks, but for the most part, my drives were straight and 230 down the middle.

I just played 9 at Linwood today. I played the front...an easy par 34 (33.7/119)...

I did ok...shot a 47...parred the #1 handicap hole on the course, but messed up on a couple easy par 4's and got an 8 on #9, a very short par 5 (Only 487 yards from the middle tees)
