I am a day late on this post but went out monday and shot a 97. Came home ****** off. Turned around and went back Tues. and shot a 89 (first time in the 80's). Maybe I should have went back a third time! But I thought that I would quit while I was ahead.

yesterday was "Stagday" for the boys:

Regular group back for the season.
1st 9: non-eventful. 4 bogey's 1 birdie=39
2nd 9: doubled 1st hole(3-putt ), 2 more bogie's, 1 birdie=39
3rd 9: par,birdie(just about hole-in-one,211yd-par 3), par, then yuck, an ob, a sh**k, and took an 8(snowman), then 2 more bogie's, 1 more birdie= 39

driver was a little wild yesterday, but short game is coming around. beautiful day, around mid-60's with a 10mph wind.

stagday

Since all my classes were cancelled I thought I'd get some golf in today. Went out and shot a 11 over 83 today playing from the back tees. If it wasn't for my start I would have had a decent round. Starting triple and double isn't good... I struggled through the first 11 holes until I made a grip change. After the change I started hitting the ball great and even hit a PW from 120yrds to within 3ft on the 13th hole for an easy birdie.

Funny, last week it snowed 7 inches and today I played 18 holes! Though the course was pretty wet it was still nice to play. Shot an 83, not bad for being rusty- My club is not open yet so I played on a decent public course. Going to start another thread on Geese.

I just played 9 holes off the mens for o.g vs y.g....
This is getting easier! 1 birdie and 2 bogeys... for 1 over and 15 putts.

GJ, Your on my team so I hope it gets easier for you
Just try not to be to harsh on those OG's.
And only 15 putts, seems like your putting is getting better, that would have meant only 30 putts for 18.

Yea, it was good not getting so many GIR.... you don't really have to worry about putting too much. Just chip it close and 1 putt!
