Well this was not today but it was last Friday at Millwoods GC
First & only round of the year. Shot 9 over 81. It rained the first 4 holes with winds up in the 20-30 mph. The greens were brutal, air-rator holes, not cut so they were reaaaaaallly slow. I had five 3-putts, eleven 2-putts & 2 1-putts. Ball striking was pretty good & driving was good. Chipping & putting were horrible.

shot 85 today . ball striking was the best it's ever been. putting kicked butt. but as usual i had 2-3 holes on each nine that killed me.

I had only eight 2-putts today. the rest were ones. Hit my irons farther than ever today, too. Which is kind of scary to me, cause I'm getting close to Tiger type distance with them. Hit a 7 Iron 198 yards pinhigh just off the green.

The last of my two courses(the better one) opened last saturday... I haven't played less than 18 a day since. Had a 76 yesterday w/two double bogies. I have noticed a few things.. carts weren't allowed until today... I liked it before they were allowed. I had the course to myself, and was playing at such a ridiculously enjoyable pace walking that it really took me out of my rythme having to play through people today. There were literally about 6-8 people on the course at a time prior to us allowing carts out today... and today, a steady flow all day long... oh well, the swing feels pretty darn solid for this time of the year. And for the first time in I can't even tell you how long, I actually can't come up with a valid excuse to replace a single club in my bag right now.....

My round was SO bad I can't belive I'm even going to poast it but here it goes,
95.
That would be 15 strokes over my handicap

I have no clue GG...
I think it was after a double on the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th and I was 7 over through 5 holes I was just like, "Well this round is *******" So I was just out there tinkering with my swing. Which was a mistake, because I'm still learning it and trying to get it completely gelled. So what do I do? I mess with it more At least I got my driver working today, 9 FW's, and my putting is coming around. My irons were just to the point where I couldn't hit a green from 100yds out with my 60* wedge. Literally. This happened. More than once today...

I played good today Finally, everthing was working, my short game was still good like it was monday only this time I only missed one fairway... I joined up with my buddies on the 7th fairway and played 8-12 and then it was getting slow so we went to #3 and played 3-6...
I went... birdie, birdie, birdie, birdie, par, par, eagle, par, par... 6 under 30! (2 par 3s and 2 par 5s) drained a birdie from about 50 feet and made a 40 footer for eagle... It was a good day..too bad I couldn't get out there til 4:00pm

better 1/2 and I went out for a quick 9;
bogie, bogie, par, birdie, par, par, par, bogie, birdie for a 37. greens are a little slow yet cuz it's early, but in excellent shape.

made a small change in take-away and now thing's are coming together.
fairways hit- 5 out of 7
gir's- 4
up and downs- 2
putt's- 14

geez someinfidel, shouldn't you be on the tour with number's like that? great shooting.

stagday

snuck in another 18 today
+3 on the front
+3 on the back including a nice birdie chip from about 50 ft (missed the green pin high right)
driver not helping but not overly hurting either- my irons are so on right now.
