Went 50-47 on Friday, walking 18 at a fairly long course. What's kind of odd is that I was exhausted in the early part of the round, and it showed. As I moved along, shots started coming together (even if it didn't totally show it on the scorecard!) Not where I want to be (or SHOULD be), but for the second round of the year and second round with the new irons, I'll take the improvement I showed down the stretch! Heck, I was about 4 inches total from chipping a couple in (including a birdie!) on consecutive holes! If I stick to my plan of playing at least once a week, I have no doubt that I'll be consistently mid-80s at least by the end of the summer.

I played nine today at one of the easiest courses around. I shot 9 over. I had a 9 on a par 4...two drives out of bounds into a nearby subdivision (no apparent deaths) then hit a duck-hook by the ducks around the pond.

Things were bad and only getting worse

I shot 83 on Sunday - net 5 under for me, including 40 on the front nine. Greens were a bit bobbly which probably cost me a putt or two, but no complaints here a few great up and downs as well

Played 4 holes at the executive 9. The skies opened up and we went home. I would have kept playing, but the wife wasn't having a very good time so we left. I would like to point out that this is the first time I have ever broken 40, I broke 20 I shot 16 for 4 par 3's. 1 par, 2 bogey's, and a double

Played a much better course yesterday, greens were about 9 on the stimp, lots of trees, fairways immaculate, and an all-around great day weatherwise with a small 5mph-15mph breeze.

f-9=bog,bird,bog,bird,par,par,d-bog(sand play needs lots of work),tr-bog(3-putt ),par=41
b-9=bird,bog,par,par,bird,par,par,par,bog.=36 for a 77 on par 72,rating 70.2

Yesterday shot 83 from the blacks (1 tee back from where we usually play). Only one 3 putt (first putt was a 6 foot slider then missed the 2 footer coming back ) Other than that made everything I felt I should have and a couple of long ones.

I played my first round of the year shot 77, not bad.
I played the last 5 holes at -2 under par, 29 putts! I guess the new putter is paying off big time.

I am playing Glen Abbey this coming weekend, I will see how I fair up.

I played decent today... I hit some good shots but I was fighting a hook all day...
69 (-3)
3 bogeys
2 birdies
2 eagles... 7 iron in on the 511, and an 8 iron in on a 520 yarder (I only had 175 left after my drive!)
I missed 7 fairways though, all to the left
but I only missed 3 greens

I fired a 76 over the weekend (+5).

This was with me being 6 over par in the first 4 holes :)

So I played my next 14 at -1, so that was a good thing.

ForeonRoad, Bolt here. On our first hole the road runs along the entire hole and when one of our golfers who is quite wild tees it up we all yell " Fore on the road".

First time out yesterday and shot 78, which was +8. My driving was pretty good but my iron play was a little rusty. Hit 9 fairways and 8 greens. Never really hit any iron close on all 18 holes. I am really liking my new TM R5 driver.
