Wish I could play in the middle of the week. Enjoy your freedom while you are young, get your education, and maybe, if your lucky, you may beable to play golf in the middle of the week. Just make sure your boss is an avid golfer and a good friend.
Only played 9 today. I shot a 39. 30-40 km/h winds. On the 9th hole i hit driver 52* wedge, and went to the back of the green!! It was a 490 yard hole too, very very windy. I missed a few easy putts, one 3 footer for birdie missed a couple 8 foot birdies missed and 2 par putts that should have been made, but overall cannot comlaim givenb the wind. I landed a 6 irons 15 yards short of the green from 210 and rolled over the green, that is how hard it was to hold greens when the wind was behind you and when you had a downhill down wind putt it was just crazy. My friend 3 putted from 3 feet, he just hit it and hit it pretty solid so that it would just go right in the middle, but he yanked it and ended up 10 feet past the hole. Pretty crazy.
Okay... here goes. Played a short 9-hole muni course. 3 birds, double bogey (and a mulleagle!) for a one under 33. The course is 2200 yds with 2 par 3s and 7 par 4s. A tricky little course, actually. If you can navigate all of the magnolias tat litter the course, you can drive a couple of the greens and get some decent scores.
shot an 88 today first time playing in a week and it definitely showed, i could not hit my irons solid at all but alas i get to play tomorrow and saturday so i should have it all back under control soon
Well on monday I had one of those days when nothing seemed to go right and shot 104 (first time in triple figures in over 350 games). On Wednesday I managed a 88 so things are looking up a bit...........I hope!

went out again today and shot an 89 (on a side note i play at Reunion in florida, i dont know if any of you watch the natural golf makeover but they use this course when they were filming. my friends dad is overseeing the building of this course and its not even open to the public but me and a couple other kids get to play it once a week) anyways back to my score, i was hitting the ball much better and even though an 89 isnt great im happy because i took a 9 on a par 4 and a triple on a par 3 and missed two 5 footers for birdie so overall i am pretty happy with my game right now.
Hi all,
So much for things looking up, just shot 100........still it would have been the fault of the wind, temperature, sun in my eyes, sun not in my eyes, grass cut the wrong way.......I'm sure there'll be some others as well.
Played tonight with a buddy who's a member at our local country club, great course in tremendous shape with the nicest/fastest/true-est greens in a 3 state region.....played after work about 5:30, finished our 18 at about 8:45--68 degrees (cool even for North Dakota) sunny, with little breeze, just enough to keep the skeeters away.....I shot 83, with a 39 on the back....took me the front 9 to get used to the quick greens....great round, with my best buddy, great weather, great course...and I'm going out tomorrow morning to play 9 with my 11 year old son....hopefully we'll get out before Mom and the rest of the boys are up......
I love golf........especially when you play like you think you should play......
What did you shoot today? ........I shot my self in the foot. Played nine today for league, was sitting at the tee on #8 with 30. Hole 8 shot a 9 followed with a 10 on 9. Lovely day. I have never broken 40 for 9, and started thinking about it at the tee box. I did hit the flagstick earlier in the day from about 45 yard out. So I have that going for me.
i shot my best ever on this little 9 holer we play. a 4 over 40. one birdie, 5 pars, 1 bogey and 2 doubles. this was my first time out with my new irons and 3 wood. iusually shoot about a 48. everything just felt good. hope it stays that way.
