Well it was nice to see Mike get to sit this one out after the long bus ride from LA to Vegas, watching mike in the first challenge it looks like this guy knows how to work the ball. It will be interesting to watch and see how far he gets, this time around all these guys seems to have game.

I thought it was nice to see him sit the challenge out, too. It must have been tough being the only one on the bus while everyone got to speed to Vegas in a private jet. The talent does look to be a lot better this season but I can't believe it would take someone missing the green every time to go home. I know they were complaining about the wind. It must have been really strong.
Great show!!! Actually was driving through Olds Ab Canada yesterday and we were going to stop into the bowling alley to say hi to Shelby... but we were on our way to golf .. so the putting green was calling.

It was suprising to me also that someone missed the green all three times. Lost a bet with the wife about who was going early on , i picked the retired AF pilot , she picked shelby...
I didn't think Jay was going to be sent home. The talent looks a lot better than last season. I wasn't planning on watching this season, but I'm hooked again. Looking forward to next week's show.
I was the same way Mdiddles....I said I wouldn't watch it this year, then I found out when the first show was to air, then I tuned in for the first show....Now I'm hooked again. Doh!
I was also disappointed that Jay got sent home...I actually thought he had one of the better games there....oh well (gotta hit the shot's I guess)
One last thought...What's up with the (as Keith calls him) "shoeless clown"? Is he not taking this show and opportunity seriously? I can understand that he wants to play that way to be comfortable at his home course, but there is no way in he** that the Nationwide tour would let him play like that.
I liked the "shoeless clown" a lot more until he took off his shoes, that to me was kind of stupid and you're right, sbrentt, they would never let him play like that.
