I just finished a good book!!!

Well I just got done reading a book called BUD, SWEAT, & TEES By Alan Shipnuck. It is a awsome book about Rich Beem and Steve Duplantis's life on the PGA Tour. It is really a funny book, and these guys can get pretty wild.

I am right in the middle of Ben Hogan: An American Life. Interesting read. Quite a tough man to crack and only opened up to a few people.

I have never heard of that one, but I am about to go buy a Byron Nelson book that I have been wanting to read for awhile now.

BTW, I recently heard that in the bookselling business, it's an axiom that "the smaller the ball, the more books you can sell about it." For example, you can sell more books about baseball than about basketball, and you can sell more books about golf than you can about baseball. Flattering to us intelligent golfer-types, wouldn't you agree?

I don't know, though. My local Barnes&Noble doesn't have a very extensive selection of books on ping pong.

If you enjoyed BUD, SWEAT, & TEES, try Dan Jenkins' THE MONEY-WHIPPED Steer-JOB THREE-Jack GIVE-UP ARTIST. It's fiction but it's a hilarious story along the same lines....only worse!
