You go out to play as a single and this happens to you.

You go to the first tee box and on the tee box waiting for you are.

A. Three ladies
B. Three old guys
C. Father and his two young sons
D. Three teenage Boys
E. Three teenage girls
F. A man his wife and young son

Who would you prefer to play with?

I played last week as a single with three teenage girls all on the high School golf team.

All three girls where good really good, one could drive the ball at least 240 to 260 down the middle of the fairway.

The other two had the best short game I have seen in sometime one and two putts all the time.

Yes they kicked this old mans ****.
I shot an 82 and the girls shot in the mid 70s.

I did play from the blues and the girls played the white.

Last year I went to a par 61 course by my house, and I saw on the tee box was a father and his young son.

I told the starter that I would wait.

At the turn the father had stopped playing.

The father and son was Stewart Cink and his son

No autograph

He lives at the TPC at Sugarloaf just 5 min from my house, but him and his son play the par 61 club all the time.

next time he's up there tell him to go on golf rewind and say hello to us

I don't like playing with grumpy old men(some hate juniors at our club, i don't know why tho, maybe because were beating them ....one of them even said that juniors shouldn't play at the golf course until they are 16!!!)...... but someare ok tho

ask him if he still thinks the same after you win the senior club matchplay champs next year
you'll be in a position is say "decrepid old people who cant play for nuts should hire carts and play on designated mornings for oldies - not on a club competition day where they slow the field down"
theres nothing i like more than to rub someones noses in it - when its deserved naturally

I think I've played with all of them as I used to play as a single fairly often. I've found those who were a pleasure to play with and those who were a pain. I think if you're playing with someone who can only hit it 150 yards or even 100 yards, it can actually be faster. If they know their abilities, they'll hit while the group in front is hitting their second shots.

The people I enjoy playing with the least are those who don't know their abilities and wait until the group in front are 300+ yards away before teeing off.

I always go early in the morning to play with the old guys. They play fast, know and respect the game and have a ton of fun.

I would go with the old guys reason if they been playing a long time I might pick up a few pointers, besides it all how you look at it I could fit into the old guy column depending on the other person age. sometimes I feel old sometimes I do not, I think that was a jingle for a candy bar old well my memory is going with old age.

"Sometimes you feel like a nut......sometimes you don't" is the old jingle for
Almond Joy and Mounds candy bars.
