Ok, now i am completely confused with this crazy game! I can use every funny looking smiley face to describe today's round.

I hurt my hand playing football back in July... needed stitches, and it took a long time to heal. A couple of weeks ago, I got up the nerve to go to the range, and hit 35 balls, and my hand was a little sore. That is all I have done in 2 1/2 months.

Today, skipped out of work to play 18 holes at my home course. Good course, tree lined, about 6,400 from the whites, no piece of cake by any means. No warm-up, I go out and shoot 74!! I didn't have any three putts, I was going for par fives in two, I came inches from holing an approach shot from 80 yards...

This @#$%^&* game makes no sense!! I was expecting to hack it around, shoot 90, and just enjoy being back. The Golf Gods work in strange ways!!

Man, 14and18, that's incredible! Congrats on the great round. (Oh, and glad you made a good recovery from your injury.) Watch out, though; the Golf Gods are mischievous. They could be setting you up...

Seriously, I have no explanation for such a performance.
