I heard two commentators on Skysports in Britain suggesting that the European Tour has more good young players coming through than the PGA Tour. They mentioned Charles Howell and Zach Johnson, but I wondered if any of you could come up with any more names who we should watch out for in the next few years.
Ryan Moore is going to be a solid player someday. A couple of the names thrown around are Chad Campbell and Zach Johnson, along with Charles Howell III. Jonathan Byrd and Ben Crane have shown some promise in recent times...of course there are guys like Stewart Cink and Tiger Woods who are in the approximate age range of those I've mentioned yet have been around for so long it seems like they're older.
I was thinking more along the lines of guys aged around 25. Don't you guys think it's a bit of a worry that Tiger was the youngest guy on the U.S. Ryder Cup team.
Stewart Cink must be about 32. So if he counts as young so must the likes of Leonard and Duval.
What about Ty Tryon, I haven't heard much from him lately?
Ty Tryon is about to be out of playing status anywhere soon. Cink is 31. There are no guys besides Howell that are around 25 and doing anything. We'll pretty much be conceding the next few Ryder Cups as our talent level shrinks unless some of the really young guys step up big time.

I believe he is on the Nationwide Tour right now but is failing miserably there too. He's missed more cuts than he's made and hasn't had any high finishes this year. He'll go to Q-school needing a good finish to have any status at all.
There is a buch of great college kids comming up
Ryan Moore- This years U.S. Amatuer
Casey Wittenberg- Last years U.S. Ametuer Runner Up
Bill Haas- Jay Haas's son and was winner of the best Amatuer/ College Player
