Tiger Woods 2005

I was just wondering if any of you guys play Tiger Woods golf on your computer or somthing else, or if you play some other golf video games like Golden Tee or Links.

I have Xbox with Tiger Woods 2003/4/5 and Links 2004 for it as well. I also have Links 2000 and Golden Tee Golf on my computer.

I have Tiger Woods 2003 for PC and had Links LS 2001 until someone basically stole it from me when I traded it to them for a junky PSone game, supposedly so he could try it out for a week or two. It was a guy I was working with at the time and he quit working a few weeks later. So I was out $40 and he was out the $7.99 he payed for it used at EB games.

I have Tiger Woods 04 for my PS2. Still dont want to cough up $50.00 for it, so I'll wait a couple of months for it to be in the used section at Blockbuster

I've played 04, but not 05. I have 02 and 99 though. I can't wait till the price drops on 05, cause I really want to get the game. Can't justify spending that much money though.

I got Tiger Woods 2005 for Xbox two weeks ago and play every day non-stop, except for when I have classes. The thought of not being able to really play golf this winter has forced me to find a new addiction and wouldn't you know Tiger Woods became just that addiction. So far in 2 weeks I've earned all my attributes, won almost 30 million in money, one 5 PGA Tour tournaments including one major and almost have completed all of the Legend games.

i play 2005 for my ps2. the legends tour is a lot of fun and challenging, and the tournaments are good to increase your cash and attributes. overall a great game.

some of the courses are insane.

Not really, and in some cases, like putting, they ahve made it even easier. Although, once you build up some legend coins, you can really mess with the courses with 'Tiger Proofing', and make it really hard.

One thing you have to keep in mind though. While it is tempting to max out all your attributes, and hit those 375 yard drives, it's not really realistic. Try to keep your attributes a little lower hat the computer's. You will still win tournaments, but you will have to work for it.

I shoot -10's even with the lowest attributes :o

just have to settle with birdies on the par 5's since you can't always reach them in 2

Yes you can make it much tougher. With the new Tiger Proofing you can narrow the fairways and make them really soft and make it really windy and make the bunkers deeper and you can make the greens really dry. Also there are new Tiger Tees that are 50 yards behind the tips that make it even harder. It can basically be as easy as you want it to be now.

Links was pretty good last year. It has my two favorite courses (St. Andrew and Oakmont) and it is much more realalistic than TW. Also last year it had Xbox live where TW didn't. I'd say if you could pick it up cheep it'd be a good pick. The only downsides are no game face so you have to be either Mike Weir or Sergio Garcia or some other random character. And only three characters (Mike, Sergio, and Anika).
