Actually I like playing in a drizzle. Full-on rain? No. I like wet conditions but not soggy conditions.
I prefer the ground to be wet but not to the point the ground is soft.
Don't mind the rain when it's vertical, not too keen on the horizontal rain.
I will happily play until it gets to the stage when I've run out of spare gloves (I keep my old gloves as spares) because they're all soaked and I can't grip my clubs properly.
Nope. I'll continue if I've already begun a round, but I don't like playing in wet conditions. It's just too distracting trying to keep the grips dry, my glasses clear, etc. I especially call it quits if it's already cool or if I hear thunder.
IF I'M ALREADY OUT UNLESS IT BECOMES A DOWN POUR I'LL PLAY
will even start out if its a slight rain, i also keep old gloves in a zip lock bag
in the golf bag for spares when they get wet
I don't mind what the weather is, as we have such a variety of it here. Bottom line is, if the course is open, I'll play, no matter what the weather is.
I won't start out if its raining, however if it becomes misty or starts to drizzle I'll keep playing. Once it gets to the point where its a pain in the neck to continue, I'll quit for the day.
Well, seing as I play in Utah, rain is not too frequent. I don't dislike palying in the rain, but I'd rather not. I don't even have an umbrella or rain suit, just a jacket. Played only once this year in the rain - stopped after four holes - the rain, not me.
I will only play in the rain if it is a tournament and I have to. I hate playing in the rain. It is all about staying in your routine and not rushing anything.
I'll play usually if the rain isn't too hard and there is no lightning. I start the round if it's even a steady rain most of the time, but only if I've seen the weather map and can tell we're in for two hours of rain at most. Any more than that and I go home.
