It seems every few seasons, part of my game seems to go downhill. Right now it's my long iron (2-4) game. Due to technology I reason, the courses I play don't play long anymore. For this reason, I rarely hit these clubs. Becasue of that, when I do, the result is usually less than spectacular.
For example, the course I usually play is 6358 from the back, which is where I always paly from. Not long by any means, but I can only count on using my long irons (or 3-wood) on maybe two holes - par 5s at 514 and 521 yards.

So many holes I play now are driver then 8-lw.
How about you?
My entire game is trash. Other than that, not much.
It would be easier to say which part of my game doesn't. It's a toss-up between driving accuracy & 3-8 foot putts. I'd probably go with the putts. I'm hitting a lot of chips & pitches inside 8 feet and making precious few.
Bunker play. I'm pretty streaky with it, I can either be really good, or absolutely terrible at it. I need to develop a consistently good game from the sand.

Go on a golf vacation to Florida - it sure helped me.
for me it is the mental game. i can get my self so worked up that I unlearn how to hit a ball. I overanalyze and shoot high 80's then i go back to the basics and shoot low 80's upper 70's.
