Geez, wanted to go play today but the rain is killing me. Can't even go to the range.

Looks like the Rose Bowl will be fun to watch.....if you've got scuba gear!

Yeah I was gonna play today with my friend and his dad in Los Angeles. We had a nice sunny day yesterday only to awake this morning to a downpour. I haven't played in almost a month between the rain and the cold spell.

It got so cold in L.A. a few weeks ago that it was like 40 degrees. Plus there was wind so it felt even colder. Almost freezing. Brrrr.

I know wet. Here in the East we're having a warmish spell of weather in the 50s, so I thought that I could play. Wrong. I walked out into my yard and actually sank almost an inch into the muddy grass. Between all the rain and snow we've had this fall and now the sudden thaw, the ground is a sodden mess.

Lift, clean and place? There isn't anywhere to "place" the ball after lifting it, and by the time you got to it, you'd need more cleaning than the ball!

I'd usually say, "Eat my dust!" but the dust is rather wet!

If you sling your approach shots as well as you sling mud....we've got a match! Many an unwary prey has mistaken a killer's snarl for "snivelling." Always a fatal mistake!

It's unusually warm here in Virginia; 66 right now! Amazing. And it's still getting warmer. The high for today says 71, which would just be incredible. If it actually gets to 70 or 71, we'd break a record set in 1993 for this day -- 69*.

It's rather scary though, to think it could get to 70 in the East in January -- let alone 60, let alone 55.

I've never played there though I've heard others speak highly of it.

We should put together a Golf Rewind foursome.
