Who do you try to model your swing after?

Who do you try to model your swing after? Or does your natural swing resemble a player closely? What have you had to work on and what about their swing makes you want to have the same swing?

I try to model my swing after the modern Butch Harmon theory aka Tiger Woods and Adam Scott. I've had to change my natural move a lot to get there but it has paid its dividends. I like their swing because it has elements of grace but is also powerful and effective. Here are some recent videos of my swing:

I try to model Ernie Els' Tempo and timing, and like yourself - Tiger and Adams' setup.

That's distracting to me. I like my swing because I don't have the think to execute it.

A few swings I like are Davis Love and Freddie Couples...but I don't model mine after anyone. I don't think I would want to, its nice to have something to call "mine"

So nobody in the game of golf has a swing that resembles yours? What is so unique about it?

I think that trusting my own swing (no matter how ugly it may be) was always the best for me!!!!

Personally I like to watch Els and Couples, both seem to have such quiet fluid swings. I dont know much about trying to copy a swing but visualization seems to be a big buzz word these days. I dont try and copy anyones swing but it cant hurt to pay close attention to the little things like tempo and balance on your favorite pro.

i swear to god playing tiger woods 2005 has helped my tempo.

just seeing a smooth swing over and over has helped.

Yep. I've actually been watching the player swing in Tiger Woods (albeit 2004, but whatever) and taking note of some things. Not a lot, but some.

Lots of people think I swing like Sergio. All I try to do is emulate Montys tempo.

I really have no clue who my swing is modeled after. But I do try to copy Tiger's setup, but I make sure I swing smoother, like Ernie Els.
