OK, here's a response from a former One and Done'r (I assume that's the game you're playing)...prepare for a dispute with one or more of your buddies over who gets picked...and if you happen to make it to the end of the year and you're still friends and somehow you manage to place in your division - good luck collecting the prize (CDM

).
That said, I'll offer a couple of tips for play...
Big players step up in the big tourneys, i.e. majors, million+ first place, WGC events, etc.
Some golfers play well early in the year, some later.
Some golfers play well on the west coast (mostly bent greens), some play better on the east coast (mostly bermuda).
Whomever is putting well is usually the hot golfer.
The best putters rise to the top on slick greens (Retief @ Shinnecock).
Be aware of long courses vs. stadium layouts.
Don't use all your big dogs up early...you're gonna have to bet a long shot sometime.
And finally...when the season is over, don't give those shysters any more of your money and come play GR Fantasy Golf for free...much more fun. More than welcome to play this year, too...starts with the FBR in a few weeks.
