As you may be aware the Open Championship is being played at St.Adrews this year. There is a lot going on here at the moment.

The Golf Course is Being Spruced up, with the work on the bunkers being completed ahead of schedule.

There is 6 months to go and everyone involved with golf is feverishly working away. Just thought these 2 articles would appeal to some of the readers here.

I'm looking forward to it to, its hard to imagine the effect it has on the town. The population of St.Andrews is about 14,000, plus 6,000 student during term time, When the open is here the population goes up to about 2 million... who knows where they all stay, but it brings in so much money to the town.

I'm also looking forward to playing it in its championship state the week after the open
